Thank You for the Music
Today, a kind person from Apple called me to tell me that my 1-year warranty on my iPod had run out, and did I want to extend my service. I thought this was a nice gesture, even though I didn’t want the coverage. (Of course. I barely have health insurance.)
I thought back over the year with my iPod… all the time it’s comforted me, cheered me, taught me new things. It’s been all over the country with me and in effect, I’ve had a more intimate relationship with my iPod than any man, woman, or other piece of mechanical equipment (dirty!) in the past 12 months. So, I just wanted to say… thank you, iPod. Thank you for changing my life.
In other news, it’s full-on winter here in Denver, CO, and I have two new obsessions: Sudoku and Grey’s Anatomy. I’ve dominated the level one Sudoku puzzles in the arena of 10-15 minutes with no interruptions, and feel I will be moving on to the next level by the end of the week. I’m almost done with the first season of Grey’s Anatomy and besides wicked good music and hello, Patrick Dempsey, I have to say that Ellen Pompeo has bumped Mary-Louise Parker out of the top spot on my if-I-were-a-lesbian list. So long, MLP. Shoulda stayed far, far away from The West Wing. (Which I will blog about tomorrow. How freaking awesome was last night’s episode?)

Oh babe, I am rofl because last night after I started to get caught up with my Gray’s Anatomy I professed my unnatural attraction for Sandra Oh. I didn’t know you had a if-I-were-a-lesbian list! Who else is on it? I have Selma Hayek on mine, and I’d have to think of who else.

Hi J,
Cheers,
Just catching up on your blogs this morning, and boy are my arms tired…
So this Sudoku deal, are you on the 28-day trial, or did you find a free version somewhere other than that link?
Oh, and thanks for the grammar lesson. Sometimes I pay little attention to grammar, but I w’n't be so lax in the future.

You should’ve said laxadaisical. It drives some people CRAZY. *wink*
Go to the link under “level one sudoku”– it’s a free web program. I am still in the print-it-out-and-use-a-pencil school… but someday I’ll graduate to doing it in my head, like I do advanced calculus.
